Installation / Environmental

The antenna is protected with a robust and heavy-duty housing made with high-quality acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) UV stable material, known for its thermal resistant properties, and a plastic antenna base as an alternative low-cost solution to the metal base option. Ground plane independence and screw mount technology allow for solidly locking the antenna on top of its mounting location making its installation easy and reliable. Cables and connectors can be customized to specific requirements. The IP67 and IP69 ingress ratings provide this compact antenna with maximum protection against dust and water penetration, while the IK09 rating adds an extra level of anti-vandal security, with high impact resistance.

1. What is the exact antenna configuration? This is a 4-in-1 combination antenna. It features 2x 5G/LTE cables (MIMO) covering 617-5925 MHz and 2x WiFi cables (MIMO) covering 2.4/5.0/6.0 GHz (WiFi 6E/WiFi 7).

2. How is this antenna installed? It is designed for permanent Screw Mounting through a hole on a vehicle roof or enclosure. It features an Anti-Rotation Mechanism to prevent the antenna from spinning or loosening under vibration, making it ideal for moving vehicles.

3. Does it require a metallic ground plane? No. The antenna is Ground Plane Independent. It delivers full performance on non-metallic surfaces like fiberglass (boats/camper vans), plastic cabinets, or wood, without needing a metal plate underneath.
