Installation & Layout Notes: This antenna requires a specialized clearance area and matching network on the host PCB to ensure maximum performance:

  • PCB Placement: It is highly recommended to place the antenna in the corner of your host PCB.

  • Ground Clearance: Maintain a minimum clearance gap (D) of >= 3 mm along the edge of the antenna placement to the ground plane. A clearance gap (E) of >= 15 mm is required to surrounding traces/ground.

  • Matching Circuit: The layout should accommodate up to a 6-component matching circuit (typically using a 27nH inductor at E1, a 3.9pF capacitor at E2, and a 15nH inductor at E6) close to the feed line for precise frequency tuning.

  • Soldering: Designed for Lead-Free (PB-Free) SMT reflow soldering with a peak temperature profile of 260°C max (for 10 seconds max).
