Description
CA.69 is a low-profile 169 MHz VHF chip monopole designed for compact embedded devices where board space is limited. This miniature SMD/SMT edge-mounted antenna uses the main PCB as its ground plane to help improve overall performance.
The antenna can be soldered from either side due to its symmetrical electrical properties and can be tuned for different PCB sizes by adjusting the matching circuit. It is supplied on tape and reel for volume manufacturing.
- Miniature SMD/SMT edge-mount chip antenna for 169 MHz VHF designs
- Designed to use the host PCB as the ground plane
- Matching-network tuning support for different board sizes
- Suitable for narrowband VHF device integration
Typical use cases: VHF band applications, including compact meter/telemetry-style enclosures.
