Description
The HA.21.A is a compact 868MHz quarter-wave helical monopole designed for embedded devices operating in the ISM band. Its mechanically sturdy helical coil structure is built for stable performance in space-constrained IoT hardware.
It is suited to applications such as smart metering, smart security systems, and remote asset monitoring where reliable sub-GHz connectivity is required.
- Compact embedded form factor: Easy to integrate into small devices
- Designed for sub-GHz ISM/LoRa use: Optimized for 868MHz operation
- Integration-friendly design: Intended for PCB implementation with appropriate ground reference
It can be easily mounted on the surface by soldering. Since it is a monopole design, it must be connected to the main-board device ground-plane to radiate efficiently.
Two models of evaluation boards are available to show performance when the antenna is parallel mounted or orthogonally mounted to the ground plane: HAD.A.21 and HAD.B.21.
