The PAD.176.A evaluation board is designed to help you quickly evaluate and integrate the PA.176.A miniature high-band cellular SMD antenna in your device design. It supports efficient PCB-based antenna development, making it easier to validate performance early and reduce integration risk in compact products.

Installation / Environmental
Care should be taken to follow layout instructions, provided in the datasheet, and in placing an antenna on the edge of the board with adequate clearance to metal. Minimum ground-plane requirements must be met to achieve targeted efficiencies.
The following is an example on how to integrate the PA.176.A into a design. This antenna has 6 pins, where one pin is used for the RF Feed. It is recommended using a minimum of 49x20mm ground plane (PCB) to ensure optimal performance.
